Social media is one of the best ways to promote your showroom, but it isn’t enough to just post content to social whenever the mood strikes. The following tips regarding timing will help you make the most of your social media marketing.
Hootsuite recommends posting on workdays between Noon and 3 p.m. SpoutSocial believes the best time is between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. most days. Another study by CoSchedule found the best time to post on Facebook is between 1 and 3 p.m., Thursday to Sunday. These three contradicting recommendations from three respected and established companies illustrate that there is no consensus.
Did you know that you can track the effectiveness of your Facebook posts on Facebook itself? Click on the Insight tab on the top of your Facebook page. Click on Posts, and you will receive a graph of the days and times that your target market is most active on Facebook. Make your posts 10 to 15 minutes prior to the recommended times.
Use Twitter Analytics, and for the spikes in impressions to gain insights for the best Tweeting times. You also may want to sign up for Klout (its free), which gathers information about your followers and provides recommendations for the best time to Tweet based on your followers.

Use analytics.pinterest.com, and click on Audience and then Demographics. It will help you to identify the best times for posting. Most of the studies have found that it’s best to post on weekends between 2 and 4 a.m.
If you have a business account, use Instagram’s analytics to identify the best days and times. If you don’t have a business account, there are free tools such as SimplyMeasured and Union Metrics that will provide insights.
