Tom Cohn serves as BKBG’s Executive Vice President where he has overall responsibility for the performance and success of the group. He has a long and distinguished track record of successful partnerships with entrepreneurs who bring passion and commitment to their businesses and has repeatedly partnered with start-ups and smaller organizations to improve their quality of service and business operations. Tom earned a bachelor of arts degree in American studies from Georgetown University and attended the College of English and American Studies at Sussex University in Brighton, England. He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife, daughter and beagle.

Sheri Gold serves as BKBG’s Executive Director. Sheri is a licensed interior designer and CKD who has spent her entire career in the kitchen and bath and home products industry. Prior to joining BKBG, Sheri spent the last eight years at General Electric she was National Showroom & Design Director and Senior Sales Manager for Monogram in the Southeast where she was the top producer in the nation in both sales and budget performance during her tenure.
Her experience includes leading different cabinet manufacturers, working with showrooms, multifamily developers, homebuilders, and managing national accounts. She also has run showrooms and takes great pride that she has helped train and energize hundreds of industry professionals to advance both professionally and personally. Sheri has developed multiple sales and management training programs and teaches for NKBA at KBIS almost every year. At each stop in her career, she has achieved an enviable track record of success and a legacy of accomplishment.

Carolyn Block is the CFO of BKBG where she oversees the financial operations of the group. She has had direct responsibility for tracking, processing and reconciling more than a billion dollars in group purchasing organization purchases and preparing quarterly reports that document group and individual member purchasing volume in the GPO channel. Carolyn is a certified public accountant with a bachelor’s degree in economics and math from Barnard College and a masters in accounting from George Washington University. Carolyn lives in Washington, DC with her partner and cat.

Jennifer Swenson serves as BKBG’s Director of Business Development and Membership. She is responsible for identifying and promoting opportunities for BKBG to improve their business processes, expand market share and improve both top- and bottom-line performance. She also is responsible for increasing the number of BKBG Shareholders, targeting independent showrooms and design build organizations where there is a mutual fit for the business with BKBG.
Jennifer brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to BKBG Shareholders, having served as a showroom kitchen designer and as a top-performing account and territory sales manager for major cabinet manufacturers. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, twin son and daughter and dogs.

Sarah Patterson, CAE, is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for BKBG's website, social media platforms, weekly Buzz e-newsletter and the quarterly magazine perspective. She also provides extensive editorial services for BKBG's publications and essential communications. Sarah has a long history of successful publication experience with many different trade associations and has been honored for her creativity and management excellence with numerous awards. Sarah received her BA in communications/public relations and English at the State University of New York New Paltz and earned the Certified Association Executive from the American Society of Association Executives. Sarah lives in Loudoun County, VA with her husband, son and dog.

Taylor Curran serves as BKBG’s Marketing Assistant where her principal responsibilities involve developing and implementing BKBG’s social media strategy. She also provides support for BKBG marketing campaigns, develops resources, responds to Shareholder and Preferred Vendor partner requests, develops marketing materials that promote BKBG and BKBG initiatives and provides support services for major BKBG initiatives and programs that include the Annual Conference and the Designer Alliance. Taylor graduated cum laude with a degree in marketing from Miami University where she was an accomplished scholar and division one athlete. She lives in Louisville, KY.
